We are very pleased to announce that Vale Wildlife Hospital will soon be welcoming a new member to our dedicated team of staff, caring for sick, injured and orphaned wild mammals and birds.
Lucy Kells, currently the hospital manager and veterinary nurse at Wildlife Aid in Surrey, is joining us as our full-time veterinary nurse.
Lucy has 25 years of veterinary nursing experience and has been working in wildlife rehabilitation for the past 5 years. She was the UK Vet Nurse of the Year in 2012 and has a wealth of experience to offer, enabling us to provide even better care for the 4,000+ casualties that we treat every year.
We are very excited about the future for Vale and I personally think we have a fabulous team of staff and I am looking forward to seeing some very positive changes for the charity and the wildlife we care for.
