This adult otter was brought to Vale Wildlife Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre on

11 July 2009 after being hit by a car.
He had sustained severe bruising to one front
leg and shoulder but had escaped any serious injuries.
A few days later he was making great progress
and was eating well as shown in this video.
He was successfully released after spending
a week in our care.
